Waves of the Mind (Canvas Print)

Every circle holds a world. The light blue lines move like water over the surface, revealing fragments of what came before: colour, mark, memory. Each one framed, preserved, transformed. This is not a painting over the past. It is a conversation with it. Look closely and the earlier work looks back, not as ruins, but as something still alive.
The painting beneath was born from a single night of vivid, unsettling images. Figures suspended in water, cocooned, connected by threads to something larger than themselves. The next morning, the canvas became the only place to put it. Bodies dissolved into water, containment into flow, unease into form. Years later, new layers arrived, light blue lines tracing the same logic of connection and enclosure, circles within circles, each one a membrane between inside and outside, between what is held and what is released. What began as a response to a dream of water has become water itself: layered, moving, full of things just beneath the surface.
