Pathways of Existence (Canvas Print)

“Pathways of Existence” is a visual narrative that depicts the multi-layered stages and changes in an individual’s life. It combines the metaphorical meaning of a map with the real experiences of moving to different cities and countries. Each route on the map symbolizes a journey that encompasses not only physical, but also emotional and social dimensions. The different points symbolize new beginnings, encounters and challenges that are always associated with a sense of departure.

Amidst these ever-changing landscapes, memories of lost friendships and the painful partings that are often part of life become visible. But at the same time, the map celebrates the beauty of new connections and the growth that comes from encounters with different cultures.

The color of the sea, as the central anchorage, is always in view – it symbolizes constancy and hope, while at the same time opening up the horizon for new possibilities.
